Skootamatta ( spelling not sure ) is great too. Lots of bass, pike and if your lucky a few eyes. Plus a few islands to camp on.

Fished deer rock many times years ago. Was great for pike in the 70's and more known for bass in the 80's. Use to camp on an island there in the early 80's in May. We would have the entire lake to ourselves. Sounds like its a little more popular today. What a beautiful place it was and likely still is.

Great bass fishing and last year a little kid caught a nice 43 in muskie, saw the pics on the ood fourm.


I would be very surprised if any muskie was actually caught in Weslemkoon. Could be like the Salmon Dave's catching in Stoco :wink:
