Bass1: Do you seriously think that someone can run a "professional" bass tournament with a 100% payback? Why stop with early weigh-in, maybe next year he should have a stage, MC, TV coverage and hey why not a brand new Ranger bass boat for 1st place. So what if he fished in his tournament, remember its a fun tournament. It's a shame that a guy gives up his time and money to put on a fun tournament and in return he gets your whining and complaining. Now I know the reason for Rule #7

One sorehead out of 60 guys. I would say that is pretty good. Andy if you do this again don't accept an entry from this guy.

My partner and I had a great time at this tourney. It was nice to be able to fish an easy going event. Seeing some younger competitors and father/son teams was great. Most that love to fish can't afford to be competitive in the Big Money events or can't devote the time required, and things like this give them the opportunity to fish competitively with a bit of incentive. Thanks for your time and effort Andy. Keep us posted if you plan on doing this again.

P.S. - since you're taking ideas for next time, how bout some Rapala Bikini Girls to get our pictures with as you hand out the prize money. Oh and maybe some of those oversized cheques, I've never gotten one of those before.
