I have one question...I have a 14' alum w/ 25 hp and it has 2 removable 6 gal fuel tanks. Do i by law NEED a 5 BC fire extinguisher??? or is it just a good idea to have one? I know it mentions a fixed fuel tank on Transport Canada website...but does a " fixed fuel tank" mean one that is permanently built in? any help would be appreciated.

No you don't your tanks are not fixed to your boat but
you should have one anyway.
