I respectfully beg to differ the County closed the ramps on April 14th citing that exact reason, in the press release to quote "The County of Prince Edward is closing all municipal boat launches, effective 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, to discourage unnecessary recreational travel to the municipality during the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak"

Yes all rural people have potential exposure to the virus however we don't have the health resource, infrastructure, bandwidth to handle a large increase in people.


I'm not from the area, but just curious to know how many public launches are there in PEC other than Picton that access Quinte. Also not including marinas, trailer parks etc...

Here's a map that quite a few, don't know if it's everything.

Latest news I was able to fine is that all are closed until at least the 12th of May and to be reviewed after that.

If the high water line is within 18' of the centre of the road is that not a right of way? After last year there should be all kinds of places
