First time "weighing" in on the post ... pun intended :D

It was definitely an awesome day! actually awesome is not quite descriptive enough. Epic! is more like it. i have fished these BOQ waters for years! I'm definitely not the best fisherman on here, but I have tried over the last 2 years to make myself a little more serious and have tried to learn as much as I can from anyone.

Before tues my softwater PB was 9.83 which I landed this may on opening weekend. It was my hope to break it this fall with a 10 plus. I have been very lucky to be out this fall far more than any other year and have seen some of my closest friends shatter their PB beside me while I come up empty handed. I always feel a rush whenever a fish is boated regardless of who is on the other end of the rod, but have really wanted to break the 10 lb mark thru open water.

Talking with Jeff via blackberry monday night I had a feeling tues was going to be good. (I have had this feeling before) but this time it was bang on. when i saw that Tank come on board my legs were shaking and arms went weak. :D :D I never imagined I'd be lucky enough to boat or "ice" for that matter a 15 plus. It was definitely a special day with great friends! and I echo Jeff saying it's surely a day that all of us will remember forever and talk about for many years to come. I have been working on a montage video of our day and it should be done by morning so can't wait for that either.

It's not over yet tho, back out there this weekend if weather cooperates. Be safe out there and bring on those Hawgs!
