No big deal Shelly. just know people who can help. They are bringing a rubber tracked extra long front end loader tomorrow as a regular backhoe won't reach far enough out in the area at the launch behind the arena. The upper launch by the OPP is done. They are putting some big ass rocks in the holes and leveling them. Stones are washed and 5" to 6" in diameter. Should make it a bunch better but will it stay????????? Anyway, should be way better than before.

Just back from ramp tour and it's not nice. The 'fix' will be fine if the water rises 18" but in the meantime the ramps behind the arena are terrible. Saw a guy sting a prop on his 14' Lund outfit last night trying to load. Just no water. The ramps in front of the OPP Detachment are somewhat better. Either way expect major delays in launching.

The fix is done as best as the lower Trent will allow us to do. My work was there doing to work on Tuesday, I was in the back hoe and another guy from our work on the excavater. It is the best they will allow us to do guys. They will not allow any machinery in the water whatsoever. Like said earlier, we put 6 inch shot rock in and the fines were washed out of it before we put it in. The ramp should be good once the water level goes up but till then be careful as it is on the shallow side for sure.

Understand from a reliable source that the city may barricade all but the north rampway behind the arena. Just no water on the others. More info tomorrow.
