You think you got it bad, try living in SW Ont. We don't have a tackle store west of Angling Outfitters. It gets worse when you get closer to Chatham and Windsor. Thankfully here in Windsor BPS, Gander and Cabelas are less than an hour away for those larger purchases.
If you come to hit the river for early season walleyes Strictly Fishing here carries what you need for the river and lakes; live bait, jigs, plastics, and harnesses. They do carry a very limited supply of rods and reels.

I agree Bob, in Windsor Strictly Fishng's tackle selection is pretty amazing.... They have exactly what you need for that area...

Cheers, Hodgey...

Ok....queue the Bare Naked Ladies (song that is)...

If I had a million dollars (cost more though), I'd buy Gibards in Napanne and make it into a big store called "Legacey Outfitters" or something like that. :)

Have it for all outdoor sports but mainly focusing on fishing and hunting, do a lot of work by the river to clean it up but of course, within Ministry guidlines and rent kayaks, canoes etc and have fly-fishing schools in the river as well.

Make part of it a small cabin like bar and have micro-brewery beers on tap that fit in with he look and feel like "cracked canoe."

It would all be keeping the heritage architecture with exposed brick and hard wood.

There's tons of parking if the old garage is torn down and have a patio like structure over-looking the falls. I love the Napanee river and Falls.

Now come on 7 numbers!

...good thing dreams are free! :)

Cheers

I like the idea legacy!!

Kinda like Rock and Reel was in Oshawa. They did really well I heard.:D

LOL, just kidding. I really do like the idea and I bet you would do well with a diverse business plan like that.

There is a house on the north side of the harbour in Picton just before the yacht club, that I look at everytime I leave the harbour. I'd love to buy it and turn it into a fishing store and small diner.

I love dreaming too.
