can anyone tell me best way to get there and easiest place to park. Coming from Kingston. Thanks

take the picton exit off the 401 take a right over the sky bridge to northport. take a right on the big island causway left at the T follow the road to the water take a right and park right there at the farm. $5 parking right there and head out! . good luck!

I'm coming from Peterborough and I am looking for directions to the east side of Big Island a place to get on the ice and park. If I have this right I would be closer to North Port. I have not been down to the area in 15yrs or so. My friend had a dairy farm in North Port and we went out from his house through marsh and onto the bay. His house was on one side of the road and his farm , Barnes were on the other side. I seen 10 to 14 lb eyes caught out there and would love to take my son out there and show him. I sure would appreciate the help if lucky enough I want to see the look on my sons face when I dump one of those lovely ladies back down the hole . lol
