Wellers bay report

Well we headed out to wellers bay yesterday for our first outing. And I've never seen so many fish on the camera in one day, 6 walleye 5 pike and 2 bucketmouths. Seemed like we were in for a good days fishing until some douche decided to do 60khm drive by our hut I mean this guy was so close I could have stuck my arm out the window and clotheslined him. After about 5 min of this he took off. Then 2 guys pull up to there permanent hut about 60 yds away and one of them heads straight to us and starts asking us questions like were we are from and hinting that were on his hut and that "it's a big bay" (more or less saying move our hut) but I wasn't bitting, I was more interested in fishing. So I made sure to hold up the 4lbs eye my buddy caught so the "neighbors" could see. All in all it was a good day fishing other than dealing with this one idiot.

So now I have a question was I in the wrong by being "too close" to his hut or is this guy just an idiot.I'm 90% sure the guy that did the drive by was the one asking the questions.

The ice was about 6", but some areas looked sketchy.

Come on...60 yards away? Some people are just idiots. I guess you were on his 'honey hole.' I wouldn't worry about it. If he is stupid enough to drive that close to you, obviously to scare away the fish, or intimidate you, then i would think if you were too close for his liking, then he would also be scaring away the fish that he was going to catch, no? It also sounds like a borderline harrassment case?
