Hi everyone. “Beg” for some info. on lodges that in your opinion could handle a group of aprox. 20 people as a group for a long weekend of ice fishing. I have emailed the ones at the top of this boards page and I am waiting for their responses. If you have phone numbers of others who are not on the Web, I would really appreciate it. We have never fished Quinti before, summer or winter so I have no first hand experience on the area at all.
We are not looking for five star accommodations, just a warm, clean place to have or meals, play some cards and get a good nights sleep, in a house keeping cottage or with American plan. As for the fishing, well some success would be great, but we are not looking to fill our freezers. Just enough for the table and the rest will be going back into the water.
This is are once a year fishing trip together, which consist of mostly family members with ages form 10 years old to the late50's. We have always gone up to Callander for the past 12 years and we thought that it was time for a change.
Please don’t tell me about the places that can’t help us, I don’t want to start a name calling thread, I just want your honest opinion. If you rather email me with any info. at dsauto@hotmail.com that would be ok to.
Thanks in advance. Dan.
