Quinte Fishing

Finally this gentleman is getting a small amount of press. I saw a note on the news portion of the Fishing News site. Very recent.

For those that are not aware, please, please, please arrange to listen or at least read about Bruce Tufts research into catch and release. This is long overdue for some attention, with some outstanding work that can open eyes in all quarters of the BOQ community.

Most fisherpeople that I have observed on both sides of the border need to learn a heck of a lot more....... even an old cynic like myself. Those that say they know how...."be afraid....be very afraid" of the knowledge that they may want to share. We all stand to learn so much more.

Good article, I would be interested in learning the tech. info. on the weigh system. Hope to see this in Belleville next year.

I saw the system here in Belleville this summer when I fished the CFT here. Very cool. The Quinte Fishing Series does not use it yet but they are very conscious of the time fish are held in the bags at the trough and make every effort to keep guys back at their boats ot minimize the line up time at the trough. You would think someone could come up with a aerator system sewn in-line in the bags running off a few AA batteries. Hmm I better go see the patent office
