This morning was pretty slow for me. I got out on the ice by 6am and there was a short feeding period around 7:30 to 8am. Only got one small guy on a pearch #7 jigging rap.
Went out again around 2:30pm to 6:30 pm and the bite was on! I lost a real hawg again in my little 6" hole-on the pearch #7 jigging rap. I spuded my main hole big but hooked into that fish when I was scouting. Fish were aggesivly hitting both sizes of the silver/green side winder with a single minnow or head. Got 2 about 6.5lb and the others were between 2 and 4lb.
The ice was a bit slushy under a thin crust here and there and the current was up a bit too. I was on long reach in 24' of water.
