I'm pretty new to this board, but I've never heard anyone say anything about Picton area. Is the ice not safe around there?? I don't plan on going down there, Just wondering!!!

no probably some or the best ice,but not many eyes,perch abound,better in the fall,some eyes but slow,but as always check the ice constantly,there were huts on there in early january ,havent been on there myself but there were some guys out there!!Ed
