Fished Massasauga point yesterday with a friend, caught the end of morning bite 3 fish, had a break went back out in afternoon scratched out the other 5. They were difficult to negotiate with to say the least.

Actually we got our limit if you look at my post we got 5 in the aft. Ice was not a factor but we only walked out the first 1/3 of the way across from the south shore. I recommend using a spud anyways. It is mass point after all. Good luck.
