Can anyone give me some advice? I am new to the area and have not fished for pickerel before. White Fish/Trout where I come from. Can anyone tell me on the Bay what times of day you normally have the most luck and what kind of bait/lures you are using? I have been out 3 times and only caught one mudpuppy. Something needs to change here!

Morning and evening are usually best....but I've seen and caught some big fish myself throughout the day. More time on the water, more chances for a trophy 10lb Quinte Eye.

PM me if you'd like some starting points, I'd be happy to share.

well im not new to quinte, just hardwater..id like to ask too...im in the pro tackle event tomorow and outside of quinte ive had good fishin, tip up fishin for pike 3lb,,got a bass too,big dirty bass, released.
but ive had nothing from quinte.had one nice perch at george street, but he 'let go' right at the hole, bummed me out it felt like a good hookset.but he was holding the minnow not the hook.....anyway...i wouldnt mind a few tips either.although i DO think my 'skunking' is more to blame then skill,i dunno,....bad karma,LMAO
