I just got a call from my buddy that was out this morning and he nailed 9 walleye using a Lindy Ratteling flyer that he picked up at Quinte outdoors. Anyone ever use these before?
It was the first time he ever used it and it is now his go to lure. He tried 4 or 5 different lures until he put this on and they nailed it. His largest Largest was only 9.5 or so but he missed a hawg at the hole. I am gonna give these a try this weekend.

The only thing I dislike about them is their size. To the best of my knowledge they only come in 1/4oz....near impossible to fish in current situations.

I like the rattle and the design however!

Anyone know if you can get them in larger sizes?

They have a super loud rattle and cheaper than buck shots. Lebaron sells different sizes. I only bought the red one so far but now that ya mentioned it I'm a buy me some more!

I like the loud rattle too, louder than the Buckshot. Not sure about the 1/4 ounce though. Grizz was saying they come in 3/8, but I can't find any yet. I like the feel of a 3/8 when your jigging. Wonder if maybe adding a small splitshot just above the knot would help?? Maybe change up the action too!!

I wouldn't be a fan of adding a weight for two reasons. Spooking fish and messing up the action on the jig.

id try adding some led solder to a bigger trebble hook and see how it reacts that way you can always ditch the hook if it messes up the action . just tryin to think out of the box here!

Ya, maybe changing the action isn't a bad idea though. If they're hungry, they'll eat it. LOL Lots of guys change hook size, and add 1 or 2 minnows to the treble. I would assume that would alter the action a bit too!! Who knows??
