PLan to get out tomorrow afternoon after a short time away from getting any fresh air.

Id like to fish the area around huffs. What is the latest word on the ice/snow/slush/water conditions. Id like to take my ATV with chains and 4 wheel drive if it will make the trip out and back. Ill be on my own so i dont want to get stuck out there. Where im heading its a long walk and even longer with a load of gear.

Thanks guys.

Hey Cory, I ran down the reach from shermans to hickory yesterday afternoon. Snow along the east shore is quite deep now from the wind blowing so hard. Also a pretty good amount of slush underneath it. I didn't go as far as huff but cant imagine its any better.

Went to Thompson's yesterday and every ATV we saw was getting stuck in the snow/slush. We walked to 25fow and for the most part it was OK except for a few areas with lots of slush. The ice was really thick with a mix of white and black ice...

Made it out this afternoon as planned. Decided to try and make a run on my ATV.

:? Good thing I also decided to wear my Rubber boots.

Lots of snow and slush on the east shore. knee deep in places. We had to dig the bike out from the slush a couple times.

I dont like to give any locations away. So Ill just say the fishing was slow in the reach. 5 guys out runing and gunning with only a couple marked fish on the flashers.

Looks like Ill be heading up west to the other end of the lake next time out.
