Hi everyone. Went out to Big Island today and had a great time other than the stinking Migraine Headache I had all afternoon. The walk out was good everything was froze with just the odd slush patch. I was surprised at the amount of guy's out today there were around 15 vehicle's in the parking lot when i got there and looking up and down the bay there were quite a few guy's. Allot of huts were being pulled off tonight I guess it is better to get them off now while the going is good. As for the fish I was marking allot of good fish but they were very fussy. I had good luck with Chartreuse Pimple's, Chartreuse Champ, Macho Minnow's and Deadly Dick. They were not biting hard they would kind of suck on it for a while but with enough teasing action they would grab it. We wound up bringing home 5 nice eaters ranging from 4 to 8 pounds but I lost a few close to the hole. I did not take the bike but there were quite a few bikes out there and they seemed to be scooting right along. The odd time they were stuck and had to back up and go around the slush but for the most part it was pretty good going. Had a great feed tonight and my belly is full, now I have to work on this stupid headache. Get out and give it a go if you can like i said i was marking lots of fish and some of them could have your name on it. Cheers Everyone..... Fred
