I was wondering how the fishing has been in this area? I think its near carrying place. Its my first time going to Quinte through the ice. Gotta admit I'm pretty excited!

Just came back from ice fishing in Dave's hut. This was my first time ever ice fishing. The hut was very well equiped, nice and toasty. Dave is a great guy.
Fishing was "ok". From what I saw, all of his huts were occupied. We managed to catch some perch, no walleye or pike. I walked around and asked other anglers in their huts, all were catching perch.
I think it's because of the crazy cold front that made fishing hard today.
Maybe you'll have better luck tomorrow.
