Ya, try Oshawa creek. Used to do it 25 years ago. Don't know if they're still there or not. Was lots of fun!!!

I use to fish behind the old Tannery at the little dam, when I was a kid. You could catch them with your bare hands. Use to get a few rainbows out of there as well.

Selby Creek....aka Branyons Creek aka? that runs into the BOQ by Deseronto all the way up past Quinte Detention Centre. This inconspicuous creek used to have a very abundant run, but alas it has been many years. The area that most people went to was about 400 m upstream from QDC slightly north of the 401. It had a large limestone base with the suckers being able to go up to the base of a small falls as I recall.

There was a couple of creeks south of Napanee, and also some in PEC. There was or are lots of places from Trenton- Kingston Mills. Temperature is the key. Do some homework and I bet you can still get lots.

I used to net suckers as a kid in the same creek that Napanee posted.

Mainly just down from the house that's on top of the hill; the one that used to have a lime green roof.

I think you can get to the creek by parking on the side road that goes to the 401 quarry - which is a right just after Flying J's and another right that goes down a bigt hill...haven't been there in a long, long time though.

Not knowing any better, we used to net garbage bags full and run them up to the quarry and release them. We'd see them in the summer when we'd be swimming.

Good luck.
