Quinte Fishing

Out last night. Stayed in the Picton Harbour most of the time. We fished from 16:30 to 22:30. There were a lot more boats out there! We only manged to land one 6.7 pounder (Male) within 10 minutes of dusk. Had two more hits latter on. To add insult to injury, I had one on for a good 10 seconds and it got off only to be caught by another boat trolling 100 feet behind me. (Of course I have no way of knowing that it was the same fish, but that is my story and I am sticking to it ) It sure sounds like everyone is doing well during the day in deeper waters. I may have to come ealier next time and spend the day.

Hey Gerry, nice to see your report. Hey! At least you're getting out! I'm stuck here having to read about it and it's driving me bonkers! Sitting in front of monitors all day is a drag especially when I could/should be fishing. Oh well! Gotta pay for the gas somehow. Hoping to get out on the 3rd or 4th for a couple days/nights, weather permitting. Now I'll have to hear from all the gang at Merland's this weekend too. The agony is too much sometimes....sheesh!......Fish On'.
