Quinte Fishing

hey guys, I'm fishing in a decent size bass tourney tomorrow (friendly competitive if that makes sense) in a lake in the rideau system. It's supposed to rain and I'm just wondering if fishing patterns should change dramatically. I usually texas rig power worms and work the bottom hard or wacky rig. I've had very good success in the past. never been a big pig'n'jig'r! Are these techniques still as effective in the rain or are there other preferred methods? I generally try not to fish in the rain so this is a little different for me!

i dont know if you fishing the one on newborow or the one on sunday... cant remember the lake for sunday, i have details if any one is interested about the sunday one..
if you are fishing newborow, its a pig n jig lakes, those guys kick butt... very hard to beat, on that lake, there is a kingston firefighter, new on the force, lenny devos, he is considered to be one of the best pig n jig fisherman in ontario, and he knows those lakes very well...
they will work in the rain, my experience is that rain normaly turns the top water bite on, so would diffently have a top water bait ready to go..
