Got out for one last fish yesterday before the bass opener with buddy Soggy D and FishnGolfPro. The morning was overcast but the predicted rain never came. We had a few follows, but only one hook up, at 9:30 am. The fish completely crushed the bait and the fight was on. It cleared the water at least four times in a battle that took me on a lap around the boat from the front to the back and around the other side. Got it turned and Chris slid her into the net. As Dave got the camera ready Chris and I unhooked the fish. A couple quick pics and back it went.

Due to the hard fight and the fact that it took a little work to remove the bait we did not take the time to measure or weigh it. Great morning on the water with great guys. Thanks Dave & Chris. Now back home and ready to hit the bass in about 5-6 hours. Boat leaves the dock at 4:30am. Good luck out there guys.

Bruce

Nice Fish!

The Rush is awesome when you get one of those on. :D Or maybe its just the fact that the fish of 10,000 cast sometimes comes true and then you finally get rewarded. :?

After casting heavy baits....Do you notice how the pain goes away after landing a nice musky?

Congrads on the fish guys.

The fish hit on a 9" swim bait. Hit it head first and destroyed it, nearly severing the tail. A big thanks to Chris for a slick job of handeling the fish and helping remove the bait.

The rush was awsome, and when it jumped for the third time in a row at the back of the boat all I could think was "please stay hooked up". You are right Stacy, I was getting fatigued but after landing it I never felt the pain in my shoulders until after we came off the water. Even then it felt kind of good, LOL. Made filinging the bass gear on the weekend seem like a piece of cake.
