what size motor my boat can handle?
there is a plate on stern but im having hard time trying to read all numbers...its roughly a 1970(??) 14 foot surfmaster I can read some numbers just not all

Call a boat dealer or marina. They should be able to tell ya. I used to have a 14' aluminum, and I believe 20hp was max. I had a 15hp motor on mine.

my 14, is only rated for a 12.5, its one of those old red boats, with the ram on the side.

this one is fiberglass so pretty certain it can handle at least a 50
