I'll be there in a crestliner with a 115.
only so many days I can get away from the wife, so need to be on the lake regardless, unless the winds are crazy.

keep in touch on the lake if we run into eachother.

doenst look that bad. 4 degrees sunny.
as of www.weathernetwork.ca for picton.

overnight it seems like it will most likely rain.
oh well! we'll just wait in the van for the rain to stop.

Major concern will be the winds. Looks like 50 km's from the NW, with gusts up to 70km. That'll be quite the cold front. Was hoping to make the trip down this weekend, but they'll be very few locations to escape those winds in my 14 footer. Gonna have to hold out for another day. Safe fishing.......

You can join my brother and I on our 18ft crestliner, its very wide and handles well in rough waters. We could probably use the expertise :)

Hey Saleen I hear you man! I'm heading down next week for the first time this season. Had a bod month or two at work...training etc :x . Unless the winds are maintaining 45kms/hr 8O I'll be out there too but, not until at least Mon., possibly Tuesday...goodluck on the weekend. Let us know how it goes eh :!: ........WIG

I'll be out there for 6am for sure.
you can never rely on those weatherforecasts.
so hopefully it will lean towards the fishermans favor.
this is my first year walleye fishing and these reports are making me cream in my pants with the size of the fish.

got my planner boards, deep diving lures, snap weights etc,
so hopefully we can just hook onto at least one 10lb+ walleye.

Hey Saleen, thank you for the invite. That's a very generous offer and if I hadn't committed to bring someone with me, I might've taken you up on it. Instead, we're going to stay local and do some trolling out in front of one of the Nuke plants this way. Strong NW winds are ideal conditions and the warm water pushing out into Lake O. pulls in some of the Browns, Bows and walleye cruising the area. Good luck to all.
