:D With weather co-operating I decided to take my son yesterday out on his birthday to try his luck on the big lake and being his birthday the Salmon gods might be kind to him and get him on the leader board for GOSD. But unfortunately they where not listening but the weather was fantastic and he still managed to get a nice bow in the boat. 8O

This is the important part. getting the kids out fishing and showing them that there is something besides video games and computers.

Good job.

He loves his fishing and watching river monsters he tries to catch the biggest salmon which is fine with me as we have a family ticket, but deep down I think he enjoys shore fishing with a float the most. And yes his hands do get smelly especially when I have to open each stomach to show him what the fish ate as he enjoys finding all sorts of different stomach contents cheers:)
