Just a note for those interested that an 84 pd. Chinook (aka Spring) has been caught at the Queen Charolette Lodge, off of the coast of British Columbia. It is beginning to get some media attention, but alas I am not much at the cut and paste stuff.

I saw the news bulletin from WFN when that fish was caught. What a tank. The Girth on it is massive.

Haida Gwai is on my bucket list.

I was there a week before, with fish a tad lighter moving through. Fishing the kelp beds was a hoot, with flyfishing, jigging (they were really surprised) and casting (least productive) all having a place. Lots of fish and lots of fun.
