Launched at Desronto, the pad was icy but a pinch of salt put the boat in no sweat.

Headed to the Narrows facing a STRONG NW wind. Made finese fishing along the channel an impossibility. The current on the downwind troll made the lures dive extra deep and we hit the bottom, when we should have been close.

There were a lot of floating weeds that seemed to find our lines. We marked fish towards the west end out by the last buoys.

A couple of passes and we headed for the Bridge, Marked a lot of fish from the bridge to Forresters Is in the 27 - 32' depths.

Trolled around Forresters and faced the fact that we going thru the motions. Back to Launch ramp, where the sun and a pinch of salt made coming out real easy.

Back to Hay Bay and unloaded. Looks like the boat going away next week.

Stay Tuned - No Hits - No Runs - Nothing left in the frozen live well.
