Quinte Fishing

Laker John and I made the trek over to West Lake to get at the big water. Fished past Nicholsons Is to the Cairn and light at Scotch Bonnet, that took almost four hours and we only marked one school of baitfish on nthe tre trip over.

We hit some deeper water and at 1400, out in 135' and down 90', we had a strike and I landed a 'shaker', my first fish off a downrigger and first chinook(legally hooked) in Lake O.

Off the water at 1630 - we had a nice day last Friday and will be back sometime.

On Saturday,the 27th, Redcapbert and my wife headed out and eventually ended up back in Bass Cove, where we had fished a couple weeks ago. the count for the day was 5 walleye landed and four lost fish(maybe waleye or pike). The fish ranged from 16-19.5" and we were pleased. The Uzick Spinner was the ticket again - never fails to amaze the constant success.
