Ice conditions for Picton Harbor frozen at 1/2" out to the red marker. However someone had launched and broke a path so we followed. It wasn't a problem launching just took our time until we were out and away from the harbour.

We headed to the ferry and caught 2 fish on the thunderstick firetiger. Then as dark approached we headed back to Picton Bay and caught 6 fish there on the DHJ10 clown. then called it a night.

Heading back into the harbour was tricky as I forgot to charge my spotlight but we followed the same path in and pulled out with no problem.

There was no ice at the conservation area ramp or at glenora ferry launch.

Will try again before its all over.

Well done out there, I'm sure we would have seen you at some point like ships passing in the night. The action was quite steady. Did you boat any giants?? Tight lines...
