Hi Guys,
I can finally say without much hesitation that this was one of my better days on the Bay. I haven't posted much on this site mainly because I haven't had the best of luck, but this Sat. was an exception for me. Made the trip up there from Guelph on Friday and launched on Sat early AM. By 8am I was in the area (close to the Gap) that I was hoping was going to produce some nice eyes. Well I guess I picked it right cause the lines were not out for more than 15 min and I had my first one on...A nice 7.5 to start...lost 2...one that straightened out my true-loc...then landed a nice 8.4. I have seen a lot of pics of 10+ (great going guys) on this site and one of these days I will get one but for now I was quite happy with the one I had landed and I hope to have several more trips up there this fall to try and get that DoubleD. Here are a couple pics taken back at cabin and a shot of the Lowrance graph...they were really stacked up...went out again Sun morning for 4 hours but the conditions were a lot different from Sat and could not get them to bite...Good Luck to everone else this Fall.....

Ron

Shouldn't let them bite like that. Once they do, I hear the symptoms are similar to an addiction.

nice job buddy and thanks for posting, it shows that if you keep trying it will eventually pay off . it always seems hard at first then you start to wack and stack them up, then you have the day when you think you know nothing, forgot all you have learned and struggle again lol, this is when you know your hooked for life, the best of the est have days when they struggle, this is why is called fishing, and not getting, good luck in the future and hope to see many more posts from you in the years to come, Grizz

Nice fish. Glad to see persistence does pay off. I also haven't had much luck in the fall over the last couple of years, but it's kinda tough when you only make it down a couple of times/fall, especially if you pick a day with nasty wind, and can't fish. I am heading down in November for 3 days. Hopefully it pays off for me too!!!
