good call, i have seen many people keeping big eyes, its a crime, those fish are so important to this fishery, its a shame fishermen will just throw all the ethics away..MNR tip line is a good way to go..

Good on ya Chris for calling the tip line. Hopefully they get their asses in gear and go and nail these ignorant bas*&)_s!!! Anyways, keep it up, don't leave the spot simply because of this. What you need to do, is snag their line, real it in, and then burn it with a smoke. Even if you don't smoke, just keep one lit and burn it off!! it is really sad that we value our fishery, but those who haven't grown up up here don't care at all.Just keep doing what is right!!!

You are right - rules are rules - no matter what language you speak!!! You did do the right thing and when things like that happen to me what gives me comfort is knowing one day they will meet someone who doesn't care and they will get their a-- kicked.

use your cell phone to take a few pictures of the idiots then tell them you are going to show them to the ministry, it worked for me on wilmot creek with snaggers
