Trying rice lake today

Heading to rice lake this morning going to try some spots Where I ice fish.I have caught some nice perch and walleye so I am getting some minnows anchoring over some spots and enjoy the day

I was in Rice today as well. I heard they were catching quite a few around some of the islands around Gores. I watched a couple guys catch one, but nothing from me other than a nice 3 lb smallmouth and big perch. I fished hard all day throwin xraps, jigs, spinners you name it, not a walleye to be found.

I'm fishing harwood to whites island tomorrow. Original floating raps in silver/black and a gold or firetiger harness with minnows instead I'd worms works great.

Rice Lake....Fish off shore at night with live bait (minnows) :wink:

Biff I had the same luck, dragged raps,harnesses,jigged even tried still fishing with minnows nothing. I was out in front of gores landing around the islands. Maybe should of moved more? I think it closes the fifteenth might be it for me. Maybe try picton again.

Next time follow the trench 20 fow between the shore at gores and the islands. Glad you got something
