This will be the second annual Fall Trophy Hunt.

Dates: Friday Nov 18th to Sunday Nov 20th.

Includes: accomodations Friday Nov 18 and Sat Nov 19 accommodations,
breakfast both Sat and Sun, BBQ'd lunch on the boats Sat and Sun, Fish Fry on Sat night.

The person who lands the largest fish either gets the fish mounted for free or gets the weekend free!!

Cost $479/person booking 12 spots. 4 per boat and 4 per cottage. I have 5 spots booked already without any marketing. Starting early so we can book another weekend if this fill up.

Last year was an absolute blast. Looking forward to another weekend. Every year I say it can't be more fun and it always is. Great to meet other fisherman hang out have fun and catch some big fish!! I won't say which boat caught the biggest fish last year, but I will say I have some vengeance!!!

I started this weekend because I get a lot of calls from guys who want to book a charter for 1 or 2 guys and it is a lot of money per guy because the cost to run the boat is the same and therefore I charge full price at $649/day. This weekend gives a guy the opportunity to come for a weekend and get 2 full day charters and 2 nights accomodations for less then a 1 day charter. Plus you make a few new fishing buddies. I know there are guys that are fishing together this summer with buddies they made at the trophy hunt. Always fun to spend time with like minded fishing friends.

Thank you Landshark.

I think it is a good deal. 1 in 12 chance of a free weekend or a free mount. If you can find 3 or 4 of your buddies its a 1 in 4 chance someone in your group will get it. Plus it makes the weekend a lot more fun when there is a good size prize. No worries about food or accommodations. 1 phone call and the weekend is all taken care of no fuss no mess no worries. We sold out last year with no issues so starting early this year to see if we can do a second one.

Scott

Is this event full yet? I am one of the single fishman that can't afford a full charter myself. I normally fish Buchshot Lake at Plevna or Stocco in Tweed with family but have always wanted to fish BOQ.

Hey Moose,
Scott is out of the country for a couple of weeks, but I am sure he will contact you as soon as he returns with the details etc. I am one of the guides for the Trophy Hunt and it is a great was for a person that can't afford out full date rates to get out and enjoy the Quinte monsters.

Here are the two 12 pound fish from last year with the one on the left wining by lest than an ounce!

Hope to see you at the Fall Trophy Hunt...

Weather forcasts......I wish it would make up its mind as to the temperatures for this coming weekend, one day its 3-6 degrees with possible snow, now 7 -12 degrees with sun on Saturday and rain on Sunday. The only thing that has been constant is the rain so rain gear is a must but other wise a full bag of mixed gear for the remainder. Looking forward to my first BOQ fishing experiance. See everyone on Friday night.
