Cost me $5 for the skies and about $7 for the hardware so far. Hopin she pulls like a dream this year, I'm not getting any younger, thats for sure.

Sets up in about 20 seconds and takes less to take apart. Weight is good as I travel into some ponds up hill and looking for an "advantage". :) I cut the skies down to 5 foot so everything fits nice and compact into the vehicle.

I put the "I" bolts on each side ,so that I can strap any gear down tight.

A really good design,I was thinking of making one using extruded aluminum in place of your cross braces to keep it a little lighter, but dependant on total weight

the only thing better than that is a larger otter sled but if you dont have a truck those large sleds are tough to transport!

looks mint!

Hey GoneFishin, have you tried it yet? How does it work?? I just bought a new sled, alot bigger and wider than my old one. Tried it out last weekend, and it was pretty tough pullin. Thinking of making something similar to yours.

Thanks

I made one just before the xmas holidays and have been using it. They work well. My frabil pulls like a dead deer in any sort of snow and this has solved the problem. Will post a pic later.

Ditto here, I built two, one for the frabill and one for my pelican sled and both pull like a dream compared to no sled!
