Just got the press release for the Wal-Mart RCL Walleye Tourney.

"The tour will make its first stop March 31-April 3 on the Illinois River in Spring Valley, Ill., followed by an event presented by Yamaha on Lake Erie in Port Clinton, Ohio, April 28-May 1. The third regular-season event is scheduled for May 26-29 on Devils Lake near Spirit Lake, N.D., and the season will close on Lake Oahe near Pierre, S.D., June 16-19."

Targa2 - Looks like you'll miss BoQ opening weekend - a few more dollars in Port Clinton. You know that all BoQ fishers are rooting for you and watch the results closely.

Gotta have an R a C or an L to fish the RCL.I have a T. I really don't want to fish in a tourney that tells me what brand of boat I have to use. Thanks for rooting for me. Root for all the Canadian pro's. Greg Horoky who has been in it since inception and John Butts from dryden who made it to the championship last year. It's an expensive venture and a very tiring one as well for those who go pro in this venue.

Lot's of money to be had in the RCL though if your game. I don't like the elimination thing though. Especially for the amatuers involved.

So if You don't drive a Ranger, Crestliner or Lund they won't let you compete? I would hope they provide a boat for you then :@

It's a glorified "owners" tournament in my books. If I fished in a tourney where it was only Tracker boat owners I would wonder how serious to take myself if I won. I would always be wondering how I would fare if I had to compete with the rest of the world.

It's a business opportunity.
