I see lots of people out fishing off of Big Island today.
Does anyone know how the ice is?

Like Dave said it was soft Friday night and lots of water on top. That nice black ice was getting pretty soft and with the warm weather today it has to be worse so I would stay off. I could drop the spud on 4' Friday night and it would easily cut an inch but it would crack right through to the bottom so it is not as strong as it was a few days ago.
