I just wanted to know if anyone has tried one of these on the Bay for Walleye. It looks kind of like a Moth, picked one up the other day since it was different from most of my other stuff.

Regards.

I've been a fan of blade baits for "many years" and the cicada is one. Others are the gay blade, silver buddy that I've found to work super!
These blades work well vertically as well as casting or trolling in summer or winter use, as per the 3 connecting holes for the presentation you wish to use and I use them in all seasons.
No need to bait these but sometimes a "little scent" will make a difference if your targets are off the bite.
They catch everything! even finicky specs, keep in mind to use the different weights for what your after...enjoy!

[size=150]I have been using blade baits on the bay for years, and have caught fish on them. I have one in firetiger and have had some success with it. It is not a reef runner, can't remember what brand it is. The thing i have found is too put a minnow head on the hook. a whole minnow takes away the action. Like any lure, some time they work and some time they don't.

Just to add to my above post...the copper, chartreuse, silver, silver black plus firetiger colours on these baits have worked extremely well for me on the bay as well as most other lakes in whatever season.
Sic'em, LOL
