Heres what i'm thinking. With the high wind I think it might blow the snow along the Ice to the open water spots and the shorelines which would make it easier pulling your huts on and off. With the water that was on the surface the snow should mix in and melt some but with a fast freeze will make some white ice. This could be a win win situation building Ice from the top and bottom providing we don't get a ton of snow. I would also like to see this wind drop but after it quits snowing. Keep your fingers crossed.......Fred

Yea that's what i was worrying about grizz. I was out earlier and i see it is blowing off the fields but not sure about the ice. I am going to take a drive later and look out over the bay.

10 mm of rain on Tuesday should wipe out most of the snow....with highs of -10 on weds should make for some good ice.
