Quinte Fishing

FINALLY got on on quinte ice this morning for the first time this year .. Hit The Ice For 630 nice walk no snow on top . Drilled a couple holes and was fishing by 645 ... 10 minutes go by without marking anything but perch .. Which i didnt Want lol . So Just as The sun came up I mark a fish brought it up a couple feet on bottom an bam FISH ON .. Get it to the Ice and was a nice 2.5 pound eye . Sweet .. Get all set back up 5 Mins go by Mark another Fish on the Flasher brought this one 4 feet up off bottom and Fish on Again .. After a nice fight to the ice I lift the Fish up outta the hole my hook pops outta its mouth .. .. Atleast the fish was in my hands already Second Fish Came in at 3.5 pounds ... Fished For another 2.5 hours Didnt mark another fish then called it a morning .. Kept the First fish .. Let the second go

Good Luck to anyone out there And BE SMART AND SAFE .. we were on 4 - 5 inches of ice ,, My Buddy got skunked .. Didnt See any other Fish caught But then again was only out for 3 hours Was Awsome To Get back on the ice again and even better that i got rewarded with 2 Eyes CANT WAIT TILL NEXT TIME .. didnt get any pics as it was - 18 or something and didnt wanna take my i phone out
