Hey Guys just a heads up, Canadian Tire in Belleville has a back display of the Coleman Sportcat heaters on sale right now for half price, I didn't see them in the flyer but was just down there and bought one

How much ? Poor reviews on cdn tire site for using it in the winter, doesn't give enough heat. Save your receipt.

If it's anything like it's brother the Blackcat heater, it's no good. Not for ice fishing anyways. Maybe good in the spring for heating up your tent when you're camping. Pretty much what ChugBug said!!!

Ya, I thought the same thing when I tried it out in the house. It's good if you just want to warm up or dry your hands. Maybe it would be alright in a 1 man flipover. I tried it out in a 2 man hub, and didn't do the trick. Good Luck.

Bought one last year and returned it. I have a 4 man hut (really only good for 2 though, and it barely even changed the temp inside. Went to a mr. heater portable buddy and am much happier.

I do have a heater I used to heat my shop with that runs off a BBQ propane tank, pretty sure though that the hut would lift off light a hot air ballon if I used that. I'm going to have to look up the Mr. Heater, who makes it?

Good choice. Mr. Heater makes it. I believe there's 3 different sizes. I have the Portable Buddy 4000-9000 BTU. Works great!!!!

I used that on Simcoe all the time with friends of mine that own Scotto's Ice Huts. It kept us very warm the whole way through. Nothing beats grilled cheese sandwhiches out there!

Tried out my Martin portable heater for the first time on Saturday -13 outside, 75 inside three man portable. Two 1 pound bottles lasted ten hours. Bought it at the new Sail store in Oshawa on sale for $39.99 + no HST.
