Took my boys and Dad out today for a mid day fish. Eldest had a nice big one hitting light right off the bad could see him in the hole. But got away. The specks were real light today... like they were sucking on the minnows, could hardly feel it. I lost 1 minnow. Dad lost 3. All sucked off. I landed one small guy. Wish we could have stayed for the evening, we were home by 3:30. But it was a nice day on the ice.

Yes it was a great day to take the kids out. Some days are adult days and some are family days. The sled pulled great but needs a 2" lift kit. Thought it was a little low but gave it a try. I pre planned the widening kit for the future lift kit :)

Great job on the new sled Adam.

great to see you got the family out for the day.
Missing the North - we are planning a trip up in early march if we still have ice.

Yes I have, The nice part about having a bunch of people on the ice is more variety of bait and techniques you can try to see what is working.
