Can anyone tell me when the walleye fishing starts in spring 2004. Planning a trip and would like to have this info.

The season for Walleye opens the first Saturday in May. Unless you are planning on fishing one of the annual derbies that take place, I suggest you wait a week or two for your trip. Opening day is absolutely nuts on the B.O.Q. and its tributairies and the fishing can be difficult.
