Looks like the O.F.A.H. is going to follow Manitoba's Master Angler Program with the Ontario Angler Awards.

This is good news. The Manitoba program is generally very well respected.

My hat is off to the OFAH/MNR for this. It is a step in the right direction.

The Sioux Lookout Chamber of Commerce in NWO has been running a master angler release awards program for several years. I believe it started before Manitoba's program. It has promoted the catch & release concept rather successfully within the locals as well as the thousands of CAN/US fisherman that frequent the area every year. It sure is nice to see more of this happening!
