Many pf the local Anglers will remember Blair Smith. He was a member of the local fishing community who lost his battle with cancer. In his memory a trust fund was setup with the sole purpose of getting today's youth involved with fishing and the outdoors. To that end an annual event was set up. This year the event is on May 23rd at Centennial Park in Trenton. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The first 100 kids there will all take away a prize. A BBQ and drinks will be provided around 11:00 am. This event is for kids up to the age of 13 and kids must be accompanied with an adult. Bring the kids and their fishing rods and don't worry about the worms as they will be provided.
