No posts from Deseronto Bridge?

Funny there were only 50 + fisherman out on the ice.
Ice is safe. Between three of us we hooked onto 3
good walleye. Saw maybe 15 fish caught around us.
All bigger fish. Only saw one fish that would have
been in the lower length slot. The fishing not bad.

Bad news at Moons Bait. The owners wife died.
We all wish him the best. Such a friendly guy.

Well I'm heading out again with some more buddies.

See you out there,

BATMAN 8)

People don't talk about Deseronto fishing very much because they would like to keep the number of fishermen down as much as possible.

But it is definately the best place for the larger walleye.

Years ago, i used to go and fish at Deseronto. Parked at centennial park and walk out towards Foresters Island. Are people getting fish in that area? As for fishing at the bridge, I can imagine the current there as when one gets close to Foresters island. Where do you get on...at the boat launch under the bridge? Is there a cost for parking? It`s been a long time and thinking about heading up to try to beat 14lb.4...the biggest that i caught in 1990. Of course anything caught under that would be put back. Thanks !! :)

I was told that the Ice conditions are great and that the Ice huts are out in this area.

Planning to go to Deseronto next weekend and stay at the Bayview Inn. Any ice condition information would be very helpful.
