Been reading about Berkleys new Nanofil line and watched video from their web site here http://www.berkley-fishing.com/line/nanoFil

went to C Tire to look at it and wow!! can not believe how thin this is,I truly believe I will be able to cast farther now with this. I currently use the Suffix advanced which I love but this could be even better
cant wait to hit the water this weekend to test it out

Has anyone here tried it yet?

PS-..has anyone tried a Pflueger reel by chance? think Im gonna buy one of those too. The president model has 9 stainless steel ball bearings + stainless inner shaft also seems real good and reels awful nice

I haven’t had a chance to use it during the open water season but used it ice fishing and loved it! Super thin and no stretch.
It doesn’t absorb water either so it doesn’t freeze up which makes it perfect for ice fishing.
And it’s a bit cheaper then Fireline!

I have a president reel & love it. When I jig with it, it actually reels it's self in. Great buy.

Have tried it and am very impressed. The 15lb test worked great two weeks ago in the Carolinas for the reds. Word of caution there is a special knot you must tie. I found this out the hard way while ice fishing this past winter using the 3 & 4 lb tests. You will find the instructions under the front of the packaging on the front of the spool. I was so impressed I brought several more spools to try out.
