could anyone tell me about the fishing around pickeral park camp thanks in advance larry

someone can correct me if Im wrong cuz only there once a few yrs back camping but its right on hay bay and thats the place to for Eyes in May

Dan the moderator can tell you first hand about Pickerel Park.

Yes i have a trailer at the park. The fishing out front of the park is good for eater size walleye. lots of the folks who fish this area use small inline spinners/worms and harnesses. Lots of pike and bass around as well. The water is generally stained and average depth out front and east is about 8ft. westward it gets deeper averaging 15 and deeper the farther west you go. The park itself has a variety of shaded and open sites to camp both serviced and non serviced or chose to rent one of the trailers or small cabins. There is a small park store for bare essentials, a swimming pool, docking facilities and 2 launches.
