6 of us made our first of 2 annual tripsntovdeseronto at Dave hogeboom's Mohawk bay park campground. He's such a great guy. Fishing was definately alot slower than previous years (4th year now). We still managed about 27 walleye in 4 days and a few nice 5lb pike. Walleye were smaller than usual averaging 1.5-2 lbs with the biggest at 3.5.

Thursday night a heAter and a snowsuit would not have kept us warm but was amazing weather after that.

Had most of our luck east of mow hawk bay in the river in 7-9 feet using yellow harness double hook and a worm feast on the end.

Hope you all catch a ton!!!

Next trip bass opener. Cya on the water.

I stayed at Dave's (Mohawk TP) last weekend for my annual Father / Son Walleye Weekend.

My Father has mobility trouble and Dave's always very good to us and accomodating. He makes sure the trailer we rent works well for my Dad to get around.

...great place to stay and looking forward to staying there in July for our annual Father / Son Bass Bonanza!

Cheers

Have stayed at Mohawk Bay Park numerous times in the last 7-8 years. Dave is a great guy, and the park is top notch. Fishing is AWESOME spring through summer.
