Just had 3 friends come back from there. They where up for 4 days and were very disappointed in the action, in fact my one buddy has been fishing the French for years and said this year was his last because of the bad fishing. Just saying!

I've fished it from Alban east and enjoyed it. However I have better fishing closer to here. If you want unreal fishing go up to northern Ontario. From Marathon up you will be amazed

I have a cottage on the lower French. The last few years the fishing has been slow (at least for me), but if you hook into one, good chance it'll be big

We go to the French Rover Lodge. Over the years, fishing has changed. The fishing is still good but you have to fish deeper structure. We used to crush the eyes in 15 to 20 FOW in the am and evening. Last couple trips up we were fishing 35 - 45 FOW to find eyes. They are there you just have to find them.
